The only way to make it nicer would be if it was a TICONDEROGA(flybridge model). I have a soft spot for the ALLMAND 23 footer, but I also REALLY like the 25 foot deep V model.

My dad and I liked to have met our maker in an Almond 23 flybridge on lake erie nearly 20 years ago.... Got caught in a NASTY storm 20 miles off shore with a plugged fuel filter.... 8 hrs in the dark at 1100 rpm just trying to stay upright in 6-8' waves... Helluva boat

For you ocean guys that don't know erie is shallow and 6'+ waves are close together and no joke.... Imagine an inlet w tide against the wind 100 miles square

Doesn't look like it has a reserve...Could be a steal in the making?

Beautiful one. Hardly anyone makes a boat that looks that good so simply anymore.

I like the flybridge model too, although I think you'd want a 25 or 28 Bertram after a while.

IF I won the lottery, I would probably get me a 28 BERTRAM flybridge. I LOVE teh 25 and 26 footers, but the 28 is so much more boat. And I would want to do twin jackshafted I/O's in it. They made a few 28's with I/O's in them and the performance of them was supposed to be ALOT better than the straight inboard models.

That ol' girl is nice, and cheap, especially for up north.

That is a beauty of a boat.

I would be heart broken to sell a vessel like that for a grand.

My last non-wellcraft V20 boat was a 25' John Allmand I/O. Wonderful boat with a built in head, a removable table on the mates side and a torpedo thru the water. The only problem I ever had with it was they had a narrow beam for their length. Made running in some seas a little harry, but all in all just a great boat. Hated to sell her, but as I got older she was simply too big for one person to launch and retrieve.
