Wellcraft V 20 - $350


I have a V 20 Wellcraft that I bought for the motor that needs a new home has an aluminum framed trailer underneath it that needs work and the boat needs work could be a great project. I would keep it but I already have a 20 Mako about to go under the knife. So this Wellcraft will go to the first person interested make me an offer and come and pick it up. Floor is pretty solid keel is solid sides are strong but the transom could use a little work. I might be interested. Where is it? Can you send photos of boat and trailer? What condition are motor controls, fuel tanks, lines, and electrical on the boat? Are the trailer tires and bearings ready for a long ride?

the boat is listed on the Savannah Georgia Craigslist, I would assume its near Savannah, quite a drive from Ca. , its not Bradfords, he just posted up an add he found

I understand. I replied to the Craigslist poster-- with questions about the boat and trailer. If both are good or nearly good, it might be profitable to hire someone there to tow it here where it could be refurbished and sold locally. The engine might even be repairable.

Haven't seen answers yet.

seller said he bought the wellcraft for the motor. i don't think there is a motor in the deal, all you get is the hull that needs a transom and a aluminum frame that needs running gear.

I called him and left a message. He hasn't responded and I haven't called back because I really don't have the room. After I called I got nervous thinking it could be the guy I sold the 86 that I got from Reel. :nut:Then I read the thing about the engine.

Depending what the trailer needs, that was what I was really interested in. Been into collecting boat trailers lately.

We were in Savannah just last week! Are you near there? We drove there from Charleston and after several days we drove to Atlanta and flew home. Coulda swung by and looked at your boats and trailers, etc.

Yep, I'm on Wilmington Island, about halfway between Savannah and the beach.
