 I have a 1989 V20 with a '89 Yamaha 130 in the Leonardo Marina.
I am new to boating.
New to Wellcraft V20 (love this boat!)
and new to this forum.

Welcome aboard Duke...  I used to be in Leonardo Marina... slip #4...  got too expensive for my blood, but I loved being there.  Again, welcome to the site.

 Ok,  not everywhere,  but yes to Cape May,  Great Bay,  Belmar,  Raritan Bay.
 You can see my boat out there - it's the one with the 100' rooster tail wake, running 80 mph on the ocean.

Sayreville Muncipal Ramp/River Road, Sayreville
Boat permits may be obtained at the Recreation Office, Mickey Sedlak Recreation Center, Dolan Street - Monday thru Friday - 8:00am - 3:30pm.  Permits are available to residents and non-residents.  A copy of the boat and trailer registration & driver license of owner are required.  
Rates:  Resident - $75.00 1st watercraft - $25.00 2nd craft
        Senior-65+- $50.00 1st watercraft - $20.00 2nd craft
   Non-Resident - $150.00 1st watercraft - $50.00 2nd craft
      Senior 65+ - $100.00 1st watercraft - $40.00 2nd craft
Jet Ski-Resident - $100.00 1st watercraft - $35.00 2nd craft
Non-Resident     - $200.00 1st watercraft - $70.00 2nd craft
Note:  Trailers transporting two (2) Jet Ski's must have permits affixed and display for each Jet Ski.
Daily
Resident                    $10.00
Non-Resident              $20.00
Jet Ski Resident          $15.00
Jet Ski Non-Resident   $30.00 
Yearly permits can be purchased at the boat ramp.  A temporary 2 week pass will be issued by the boat dock attendant   Boaters must come to the Recreation Office within this 2 week period to obtain the yearly  stickers.  Copy of registrations and driver license is required.  Two stickers will be issued.
Boat dock attendants are on duty from May thru September 8:00am - 8:00pm.

It is a very nice ramp..  Two double wide ramps, nice bathrooms, although they tend to be locked up if you get back late, nice parking, wash down, not crowded hardly ever.  Have to try to find a gps'able address but it is on river road and right next to the big abandoned power plant.  I get off the first exit after the Driscoll bridge, right at exit, and left at t in road.  Down past the quick check and turn right on river road.  And as you can tell by destroyers post there are NO jet skiers.

Based upon this post we should be seeing at least 14 boats at tices shoal in a couple of weeks

better than atl, highlands  25 dollar evey time you put it in the water and slippery as hell ayt low tide    im going to try sayrevilles ramp
