With much regret, putting my boat up for sale. Only used it once last year and my back is telling me no more boat.

That's a good deal for someone!

Sorry you need to sell her. Be sure to stick around here!

If I had the cash I would probably already be on my way up nawth to pick this one up. IF I had the money for another offshore boat, it would be a V-20 with a 3.7L in it. And this one already is setup with radar. Somebody will get a smoking deal on her at that price.

Well, I have two interested parties. One from the add has called a few times, but he hasn't come to see it yet. The other is from the owner of a local restaurant who wants to buy it for is future son in law. He keeps on telling me not to sell it yet, he has told others that he is buying it, but his future son in law has not been by to see it and only seems partly interested...

We'll see.

Had a few nibbles and a couple of lookers, not sold yet. I dropped the price to $4400, not sure if that will help or not. I would think the buying season is now, not sure how long it lasts. No real rush to sell it, but would obviously like it gone before fall.

well, I have heard "they" say that the two happiest days of a boat owner is when the buy it and when they sell it.

I think "they" are wrong.

Sold it yesterday, little less then what we wanted.

Mine looks like yours except that I installed a HUGE Bimini top that I bought on Craigslist. I love that thing. It folds down in front of the windshield and extends back over the two back seats. LOTS of shade under there!. I installed two leather double boat seats also found locally on Craigslist, LEATHER Chaparral seats on their wood pedestals! I am embarrassed to admit that I bought those two for $100. Someone told me they are worth $1000! I also bought the Bimini top for $100. Someone said those huge tops with heavy black canvas go for $1000!

But I was obliged to put out serious money to have the trailer rebuilt. It was falling apart. A new tandem trailer sells for $6k. Rebuilding it, replacing nearly everything, cost $2k.

I will leave the boat in the Harbor Island West Marina here in San Diego until October or so. Nice to be able to drive down there, park in boat owner parking, walk through the security gate to the boat, have a beer and a sandwich, listen to the radio, or take it out for a ride.

Sorry you had to sell Road King. It's hard to get any money out of anything for sale these days, you're not alone.

Stick around here though.
