Bradford, you beat me to it..
You are infatuated with that 12" transom extention aren't you? LOL! Kidding! But seriously, the center console bunch used to look up to you v21 guys. Now you got no love for a brother from another mother..

Why even Valiant or MJ gave us (Center Consoles) second class citizenship by placing us on page 2 of the Gallery section. Thats right, we have non-V-20's on page 1 and center console steplifts on page 2.

Thanks Ridge, right back to you. I've found this web site frequented by really good people, without much sillyness till someone joined and wrote of putting a V boat on the moon......?

Anyway, thanks, I'll be taking some more pics this spring, right now I've removed the seats, installing new low profile swivel bases for both. The helm base was hard to turn, the port seat fixed position, so I got the Gareleck units for both.

Removing the OE base on the helm position was interesting. Wellcraft must have had an employee with tiny hands fitting through the hole in the base to secure with nuts. I had to drill them out and such.

Good winter time work.

Yup, projects. I need to see what is going on with my fuel gauge/sending unit. It quit upon jumping a large boat wake last Nov.
Avoiding it like the plague.

The answer to your question is simple. When you have something perfect, why spoil it? :zip:

One guy had a short video of V with worked high hp inboard that was running somewhere close to 70 mph. Was porpoising a little, but I bet tabs would handle that.
That was very interesting, a real sleeper. Amazing lake boat, or even for the bay on calm days.

The reason the v21 went on 2nd page is when the albums were made thats kind of how the order went. Besides v20 was the first so should be first!

Bow slider cover that I had built does a great job of keeping most water from infiltrating the cuddy when seas are rough and wave/ spray action is heavy.

Sunday, with bow cover off, took a sloppy big boat wake and water overwhelmed the slider track, and wet inside cuddy.

I don't like getting any part of the cuddy wet - even if a little bit of water.

I run my V21 in the ocean and when it's choppy with heavy spray hitting the windshield, and boat pitching down, then up, water can over load the slider track, which is why I have the snap cover over the slider. Where are the pics of my boat ?

Anyway, I recommend it.
