Best I can tell looking at the history portion the "87 had a 60 gallon tank as did the "89, so you would expect the "88 to have the same.
The 17 and 18' animals in the "89 had a 52 gallon tank.

Tony,
The following link is from the gallery that has spec sheets for some V20 years. This link is specifically for the 1988 V20 Cuddy:
http://www.wellcraftv20.com/gallery/specs_1985/WC_PIG_V20_Step_Lift_88
The sheet says 60 gallon fuel capacity.
Two heart ops and you are still here - you must be a relay bad boy.
Good luck, Slow

I had an aluminum belly tank made for my 83 center console, they made it to factory specs but marked it 55 gallon. The price wasn't too bad either, 12 years ago.
Post more often. We like to listen and BS. I am 18 months after stint. Two ops on your heart sounds like a bad chapter, hope your doing well and find time to use the boat.. I am sick and tired of being sick myself. Snorkeling and scalloping can't get here soon enough. Down time desperately needed! Until that day happens I have, Wellcraftv-20.com.

Ridge my new tank was marked 55 gallons too. The guy who built it said most tank builders will tag them as less capacity to avoid any liability problems if for some reason they don't hold what the tag says.
I have an 87'. I hold 60 gallons.

when I had mine made to the outside dimensions of the 60 gal tank, they used thicker aluminum and added more baffles inside so it became a 57 gl tank.
