Drunken Worms

Soooo I had to run up to the local farm store and pick up some denatured alcohol and I saw a JUMBO 28 oz bag of gummy worms at the checkout and remembered something I had seen on the net so I snagged em.

When I got home I put a handful in a ziplock bag and poured in enough vodka to thoroughly drown the little buggers.

They have already begun to grow and it's only been a few hours. By tomorrow they should be ready to P A R T why?

OTOH I'm gonna be sick by tomorrow if I can't stop eating the ones that aren't soaking!!!

Well it's official... DON'T do this.... I had to gargle with some diesel fuel to get the taste out of my mouth... LOL

The only way to make straight vodka taste worse is to blend it with a soggy gummy worm.

UPDATE!!!!!


The wormies have been soaking for over a month now and I just got brave and tried em again.... SURPRISE!!!! they are GOOOOD now.... I guess the key is letting them soak thoroughly and get the vodka all through em instead of just on the surface.... at the same time the candy softens the vodka too.... I NOW say definitely give it a go but let em soak a couple weeks or more. :sly:
