The mid 80s are my favorites..60 gal belly tank, plenty of open deck space, 25" transom. This one needs to be recored through out, but will be worth it once done. I had big plans, but money, situation etc say no...so time to move her on. The motor is questionable and will require starter to see if compression is there...comes w/SS prop.
$500 for hull & motor and will deliver up to 100 miles or 2 hour drive for that...we can work something out beyond that. Trailer not included
Post any questions here..Motor untitled, hull has clear NC title...couple of years ago, I had no problem titling another untitled motor here in SC, so that shouldn't be an issue.
Hope somebody will give this girl a good home...the prop is worth half of what I'm asking...

WOW...that'd be fantastic!!...Bradford wants some things off it...if you still want it after he pulls what he wants, the drive to his house is a WHOLE LOT shorter than to mine...as you know all too well...lol
The ONLY downside to that is I wouldn't get to see yer gnarly self...LOL!!

Ooops...ya know the part about perfect?...well toss that out w/last week's newspaper...they're in pretty good shape, but flanges around various edges are broken...they are THERE, but split apart from box...all teak is present except one long top trim peice(I might find it under the snow...)
Measurements are 60 X 17.5 X 3.5...removal of one set of rod holders from one box may allow nesting one inside the other for shipping...take a look at your cost and let me know...these will require some repair but IMO they are salvagable...Lemme know...

There's more than one place to leave messages on V20...but I no see ya anywhere...if you still have my email, shoot me something there...the fire extinguisher box is spoken for, but if Bradford or Vic don't want the RR, you can get it...
If you do get it, You and Pete can meet in DC as he's headed back thru from here...

looks like USPS would deliver em for around $50 BUT the more I think about it the less likely I think they are to arrive safely...... I think I'll leave em for someone local vs gamble on shipping nearly 30 yr old brittle plastic parts.
Thanx anyhow

Dragged this old girl home today from Folly Beach SC. Got to meet in person Reelapeelin' and Spareparts, both great guys, wish we could have hung out longer, maybe drank some beers and told lies. Maybe when the weather warms up, it was COLD as !@#$ for this Georgia boy with this crazy storm moving in.
Spare, I know why you like those Yamahas, cause its all they have up there! Passed I bet 4 or 5 boat dealers and everything new was rigged with a yamaha 200 fourstroke.
Reel, if you ever want to sell that Float On trailer let me know.
I think I may have a problem. I presently have 3 Wellcrafts, Two V20's and a V18. And 3 V20 hulls, two Wellcrafts and a Chaparral 21. The Chaparral looks like what would result if a Wellcraft V20 and a Seacraft Seafari got it on. V20 hull, Seafari style cap and cuddy, but with a 3 piece windsheild instead of the 2 piece.
I'm gonna get some parts off this one and then put her back up for sale. Main things I'm needing are the bowrail, helm and cable, deck hinges, teak cuddy trim and sliding hatch. I know thats a lot of parts when you think of the stuff already removed before she came to me, but maybe if someone was gonna do something different; crazy cut down go fast, custom stretched V25, or a crab boat. LOL!
If anyone is interested from here I'll make you a deal and possibly include a trailer too if you need one.
Everyone should have a few extra boat trailers around ya know.

there are 11 small boat(< 40ft) dealers in this area. Each one carries at least three lines. To my knowledge, there are only four boat lines(Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Trophy, Bayliner) and three dealers(Hall Marine, Duncan's, Berkely Outdoors) that sell new Mercurys(6 authorized service dealers). Each of those dealers also sell Yamaha, with a corresponding boat line. Every dealer in town sells and services Yamaha, there is one dealer that stocks new Suzuki's(5 service centers), and no new boat dealer that sells E-tecs(two service centers). If you look in the dry stacks around here, it looks like a Yamaha add

Late to the fiesta again.. I just found this post again. I really appreciate you thinking about me. I have no interest in the rub rail. I appreciate the offer to no end, Reel and Bradford, but I am just not ready for a project or even collecting parts at this juncture. LOL!
I am going to coast with what I have and try and maintain my old stuff until I have time to use it properly.
I just hate that another hull may end up at the landfill.. Sucks that that motor popped on ya Reel.
Bradford, I got it bad, you got it worse.. way worse..

Don't worry Ridge, I'm too sentimental to take her to the dump. It's a sickness, I know.

Like I keep telling my wife, there are much worse addictions (than mine to my ol' Pipe Dream and two 1960s autos). Keep us in our toys and we'll be good boys. :-)
