fuel sending unit

The spade connector on the sending unit broke off.
Can I ground to one of the screws that fasten the unit to the tank

Fuel sending units always scare me so I don't have one hooked up. I believe Tsubaki might have had a thread on here a few years back about fuel system wiring. If not I know someone on here knows.

Yea I know sparks that close to fuel cant be good
