wind, no big deal, but you don't want to be down current.

Best tool on boat = 3 or 5 gallon bucket! Take somebody who is full of SH!T and you may need a 7 gallon bucket! Phat, I like yer handy work on the potty. :fam:

got that right, br. don't know if you can tell by the pics, but the "seat" is resting on wood strips mounted in the well. so you can put the cushions in place and the seat never takes up any space. actually put that in 15 years ago for the kids.

All disgustingness aside, I have one made by Coleman and it fits like a glove. Think I got it at Dick's Sporting Goods.

Yup, looks pretty much like that one. I'll get you a dimension on it tonight.

Mine came with one. Sold it at a garage sale. (Who buys a USED porta potty?) But honestly, who the hell wants to ride around the rest of the day with pee and poo wafting out of the cuddy not to mention who wants to clean that thing out at the end of the day? I always carry at least one 5 gallon bucket. Its has many uses and might just save your boat right MJ? I pee over the side and the wifey hangs off the swim platform. The rule is whoever uses the bucket, cleans the bucket. If ya gotta #2 i always "go for a swim". Preferably on an out going tide with light wave action.

That set up Phatdaddy has is deluxe!

I'd really be interested in hearing Stink's setup.

P.S. Didn't someone post pics a few years back of their wife sitting on one with her head poking out of the sliding hatch?

if you get a marine unit with pumpout connection you never have to clean it out any more than any toilet.... spray down the bowl and use the pumpout station... or if ur offshore you could even use a macerator pump

X2 on the coleman porta pot. Mine came with one (88 V20) If I have a pic I will post. Self contained so don't notice smell but agree no fun to clean out. Try to avoid using it but not always possible. Fits perfectly, lid and cushions overtop and never even know its there.

My mistake mine isn't a coleman, I believe its an older model of a Thetford similar to this...http://www.ebay.com/itm/thetford-porta-potti-/181290240235?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a35bd88eb. http://i.imgur.com/Z4YvUBp.jpg

Thetford made the original "Porta Potti" brand name. Quality made units in their day, but the prices were thru the roof. I had one and when I tried to get parts after the flush mech broke it was outrageous what they wanted. Wound up getting a Coleman. Coleman and a few others brought out their own versions, at much better prices. last I heard ThetFord was still making them, but they had been bought out by some other company. I have two Coleman units, one in each boat. Both fit with a little room to spare. Get one, your wife will love you for it. And as we all know, a happy wife = a happy husband.
