I am selling the only boat I owned for Chesapeake bay!! I love my V20 but it is time to part. This boat has only been run in the Upper Chesapeake, low salinity and kept in warehouse for last 10 years. The hull looks like new after all these years. The description follows:

1978 Wellcraft V-20 Steplift with 1991 140 hp Johnson. Boat has a cuddy cabin with full canvas (top, side curtains, back deck canvas) and is in very good condition, seats re-upholstered and like new. Spent $4000 on new transom, new motor controls, fiberglass reinforcement to front cleat and trailer hook 3 years ago. Motor runs good but needs power tilt-and-trim repaired. Includes 1978 trailer (galvanized-no rust with power wench), 2 props ( SS and alum), battery, life vests, fire extinguisher, depth finder, winter cover.

I have some photos that I can e-mail to you. The price is $3700.

Sounds like a beauty, Bruce.

Is the transom still 20" or was it raised during the rebuild?

Good luck on the sale and welcome!
