I'm picking her up on Friday, the weather is supposed to be lousy so I probably won't get to run it till Sunday. Heres a picture Barnacle Bills took of the install today. I went with all new rigging and the ICON gauges. I can't wait to pick her up.

That was my set up, you are going to be thrilled. The torque alone will make you smile.

The best I ever saw out of the 200 Ocean Pro was 42mph and that was on a cool Spring day in cold water. During the Summer it was usually around 37-38mph. The boat is fairly heavy, about 2650 pounds, hull only, no motor gear or fuel. I was on the fence weather or not to go with a 225 or 250 but for the money the HO is the best deal. I don't expect a huge improvement in top speed but a couple mph will be nice.

Neighbor did the same switch - 200 O Pro to 200 HO and believes he picked up just about 5mph. If your 0 Pro was producing 200hp, the HO yields you about 18 more hp. Not enough for huge top end differential, but major differential from idle on up ref fuel economy , quite running, smoke, etc...

I have the 200ho on my v-20 and love it--rarely do I need all that she has to give--even when loaded for tuna. That I-command gauge is the hit, buy the chip for it and you do not need any other gauge on the boat--the info is mind boggling for us outboard guys--info we should have had for years. enjoy!

I estimate you're boats running about 65 mph based on your photo.

Figure that's about 3/4 open throttle with your 200 HO engine.
