Cable Latch....Found One TNX

I found out when we had the motor on the trailer the cable latch opened and broke off does anybody have a junk 82-? Merc 150 that I can get one from......It's the latch that holds the barrel of the cables secure......

I guess no one has one ......I lucked out I walked in to a marina that services the Sea-ray that we have and ask the service manager about the latch, we was going to write the P/N down to see if I could locate one and the confuser said they had one in stock but they were discontinued in 94 and was problely a mistake. For sh*ts and giggles he said I'll check he pulled out the bin and low and behold there was a brand new NOS latch in the bin. Whooo-Hooo back in business......Ted
