There is at least one guy in FLA who disagrees with you!

There was a mathematician on the news the other day who said if you had bought 100 powerball tickets every week from the time of Jesus till today you would have less than a 50% chance of having won.
You have a far better chance of being hit by lightening and surviving 3 times .....
at those odds I'd rather stay away and not tempt fate LOL
That said, if any of you guys bring home A few hundred million PLEASE remember your old pal Smoke!

A fellow I know said, and I haven't verified it, that if they dumped a paper slip for each ticket sold for the current jackpot into a huge mound with the winning number on one of them and gave it to you that there was a pretty fair chance you would die of old age before you were able to find the winning ticket to turn in

I stand as much a chance of winning if I play as if I don't.
That would be some kind of sweet though if Ferm won.

To me, the amazing thing is that before the drawing they announced there was a fair chance of having a winner because over 80% of all possible winning ticket number combinations had been sold already. It's truly mind numbing what computers can do. :head:

"Officials say she is the largest sole lottery winner in U.S. history. She did not speak to reporters outside lottery headquarters, leaving in a silver Ford Focus with family members."
Shoot, I'd have a mercenary force surrounding me...
....And another around the guy I wanted everyone to think was me.

As usual, it is someone too old to enjoy it for long.

Maybe, but her son who looked miserable to be with her there will sure enjoy it in a few years.

To top it off it turns out this winner cut in line and got the winning ticket. The cashier told this woman that it wasn't her turn but the woman behind her that she cut in front of, and the woman let her go 1st. Living in this town I have a feeling she is one of these retirees who feels everybody is beneath her and owes her something. I deal with it all the time where they cut in front of you, and then they yell at you when you point it out to them.
