It went up $400/year for full coverage.
The big hit came when he got his license and it went up $700/year.

My Kids are all gorwed up and out of the house with youngins of their own. Funny how the insurance does not go down as much as it went up when they started to drive..

My Dad is retired, rich, and in the middle of prostrate cancer treatment.
When he heard that we were having a few issues getting my old truck on the road he offered up to buy my boy a car.
He set a budget and some parameters and we spent a month searching until we found this car.
My son will have a great summer driving his bad a$$ Mustang to and from his lifeguarding job.
My son is a good kid, soon to be Eagle Scout, over 4.0 GPA, ranked #9 out of 254 in his class, a much better son than I ever was.
