Would be useful to have a bow pulpit for pulling in the anchor..........and holding the anchor in place for dropping.
Anyone have selection suggestion ?

google bow pulpit build and look on youtube. I remeber seeing some beautiful wood and fiberglass mold builds for bow pulpit ebay has some Starboard pulpits you could use as an idea for your build. Thats if you wanted to build your own.

these are some shots of what i did. works great, anchor easy to let out and retrieve. the inside shot is where the deck pipe feeds the line to the locker under the self in the cabin. also shows the backing plate for the pulpit.

Pretty sure I got this picture from here a couple years ago--but here it is.
Small and simple--inexpensive except for the windless.

I built mine back in 2010 base on ideas posted previously on this site. Works great and is out of the way at all times. Notice the tie straps? Use it when freeway, extra level of security.....

MJ thats a very simple yet awesome idea. I have scrap 3/4 starboard and will be building one like that to mount my anchor roller on.

Here is a link to my build, its all Gel Coated, its done base on Mcojoe project he posted. To this day it holds up flawlessly. I was thinking on building a few using Fiberglass Honeycomb Panel
I just moved to a new home, and is still getting my stuff setup which hinders my various projects. I have to admit I miss the warm sensual smell of Polyester Resin. Hey Ridge I still have the 2 gallons you give me.

Exactly how mine is set up.... Trying to figure where is the added benefit of the pulpit. Just get the Lewmar anchor roller and thru-bolt it

Mine is exactly like Chomper's. Works great. no pulpit needed. My marina would charge me an extra foot ($120/season) if I had a pulpit. The roller doesn't count!
