Hemi's can be very good. I have friends who love theirs. Good engines. My friend, go with what floats your boat. In the end their are fans of all these trucks based on their experience.
I have not had good experience with friends who had Chrysler products, but I have also had personal experience with GM and Ford that were both good and bad.
What do you like? In the end that is all that matters, what works for you.

I assume you're seeing all the dings and dents that I am? Front bumper lower center, front bumper right side (looks like Frankenstein stitching), rear right tail light dented on top, tail gate dented in a couple spots, left rear quarter pushed up behind rear wheel, left side tube step pushed upwards like it got hung up on a rock or something. That trailer hitch is just bolted to the bumper and not a frame mount.
Not trying to burst your bubble or anything and I know it's 9 years old and all. I have no experience with the 5.7L. I had the 5.9L and when I got rid of it, I was getting 10mpg!!! I had so many problems the last few years that I owned it, I swore I'd never buy another Ram or any Chrysler product for that matter. Can't wait to get rid of my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee. :cen:

on top of what CB said, I would pass for one other very good reason. Look at the step bars and see how tehy are bent upwards. That truck has been offroaded HARD, and was high centered in teh middle to bend those steps like that. I bet if you look underneath you will find some frame twist and other problems from offroading.
The Tahoe looks like a decent find if it checks out. Chances are it will need an idler and pitman arm in the front end, but at that milage it shouldn't need but general maintence otherwise I would think.

Just like i have always said wax up a trash can to look real nice and it will sell!! red is also a bad luck color for me any way!!
Tahoe looks nice but the 5.7 can be a bit thirsty, but good motor.

I hear the "can't afford a chevy" thing but I'd take a '93 chevy over an '03 dodge.... If you look at it that way, I can't afford a dodge!

Having owned a Hoe and had friends with the newer dodges I can PROMISE you the mileage will be better in the Tahoe, not a huge margin but better.

With that said, the Dodges have been good to them.

Yep chum is right on the money with his body work observation! Red is the most expensive color to buy but it matches well and always looks sharp when its cleaned up.Also looks like they are zip ties stitching up the right side front bumper cover!!!!!!!!! Even used red ones too.But if you get it for a good price and it runs good You Win ( maybe keep looking)
