when trying to copy a link to post in a thread, the links go black, they all have black over them like they are being blocked, you can click on the links and if you are real quick, you can copy the link, but in less than 2 seconds, it goes black. I though it might be because i haven't switched to the new photobucket, so i went ahead and switched, its worse now. Any one have any idea whats going on?

I initially had trouble posting the links because there was no verification the clicked portion worked. Ended up going on faith that it took.
I'm clicking "view library" and then clicking the picture and then clicking the IMG code.

Works even by clicking the top right hand corner to get links options and then IMG code.

Or am I missing something?

Well let's just see if I still have the ability to post my photos.
Thius is an old one of the Schmarktails and this summer I will have some time to clean her up and get her running again.:time:
I am still deciding do I get the motor rebuilt after losing 1,3,6 or do I just invest in another motor???

By the way, if you copy and paste the third option down, labeled IMG code - this should work.

So you are logged in and getting black flags after clicking on the pictures or the top right corner of them?

There is a "coming soon" black flag that comes up not pertaining to any specific photo's.

Hey Phatdaddy, what did you make those rings out of for your rod storage? I like the concept, much better than the holes I drilled in boards to do the same thing.

And Lumber, seeing that picture, do I really have to wait till summer?

Destroyer, I made some rings similar to those using PVC, I just cut slices. I drilled thru both sides then came back and made the hole on one side big enough for the screwdriver bit to fit thru, it made it a lot easier to install. I made my rings a little wider than those and cut a section out of the side so it was easier to hang the rods in.

d, 3" pvc cut on a chop saw, then mounted to a strip of 2x4 and the strip mounted to the roof truss. if i had it to do over, i would have used 4" for the larger eyes on the surf spinning rods.

spare, can you post pics?

Phat and Spare...Thank you both. You've given me some great ideas. I never thought about using my chop saw to cut the rings, and drilling thru both sides to mount them is also a great idea. When I made my rod holders out of wood, I used 2 different size hole saws... one for the butt of the rod and one for the tip, and I alternated the holes so that it was big, small, big, small, etc. like OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO and the same on the other board. That way it takes up a lot less space and yet you can mount more rods cause the rod tip hole acts like a spacer between the reels on the butt side. I think I'll use 1 1/2" for the small and 3" for the large and do the same alternating on this build. Will post pics when done. Thanks gentlemen..

if you cut the rings thin enough, you don't need to drill 2 holes.

I don't see any black boxes anywhere.

I just hover the curser over the photo until the "codes" appear, then left click on IMG Code, it says "copied" when I do that.

finally figured it out. It only happens if you're running Chrome. Go to the menu drop down for Chrome, open tools. Open extensions, then click to disable real down loader 13.0, restart browser and you're good to go.
