Missouri Democrats introduced an anti-gun bill (http://www.house.mo.gov/billtracking/bills131/biltxt/intro/HB0545I.HTM) which would turn law-abiding firearm owners into criminals. They will have 90 days to turn in their guns if the legislation is passed.
Here’s part of the Democratic proposal (http://www.house.mo.gov/billtracking/bills131/biltxt/intro/HB0545I.HTM) in Missouri:
4. Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution:
(1) Remove the assault weapon or large capacity magazine from the state of Missouri;
(2) Render the assault weapon permanently inoperable; or
(3) Surrender the assault weapon or large capacity magazine to the appropriate law enforcement agency for destruction, subject to specific agency regulations.
5. Unlawful manufacture, import, possession, purchase, sale, or transfer of an assault weapon or a large capacity magazine is a class C felony.

Well, at least .22 cal rifles with tube feeds are exempted, as are larger caliber tube feed lever action rifles.. but in all cases they are going after pretty much everything else in the "assault weapon" catagory. I wonder how the people that elected these traitors are feeling?....

There is now a nationally organized effort by the obamanation.
Minnesota has almost the identical thing.

Georgia has one too.

I put no hope in anyone who voted for most of the vermin in today's public servant positions.

Do you think anyone is going to just head up there and turn in their guns? What kind of idiot is going to do that? It would be like a drug dealer taking his payload up there and saying, "here ya go..."

That said, there probably will be somebody to turn in something. I will be the first to call him/her and idiot to the 10th power.

guys they done it here years ago-- first they will ask for high powered autos and once they get them they will change it again until all you can own is a single shot gun or a shot gun ...you need a gun licence here and a really good reson to have one and you need proff of were you hunt and the owner of the land has to sighn for you----ALL THIS MEANS IS YOU CANT HAVE A GUN TO KEEP YOUR HOME SAFE ONLY TO KILL ANIMAILS

aussie don't worry, the good part is there ain't no middle ground perceived here.
Either the proposed bills fail or most of the population becomes felons.
Real simple.
