need help locating a stator

i am looking for a mariner/merc 40 hp manual start stator . it is a mid 90's model. can get it from the dealer. but was quoted $400. apparently it is different from the elec start and fairly rare. the electric leads on it has only 4 wires.

anybody got one laying around, let me know

Do you know the part number for it? CDI lists a few differrent ones for that era of 40HP engine.

not sure ferm, the motor is over at a friends house. i will get the serial # to narrow it down.
