Good morning,
I am re wiring a '82 wellcraft V20. I purchased a new 5 switch panel(plug and play) from ezacdc.com out of Indiania. I am relocating the batteries under the helm and need to clean up some wiring under the stern area. Maybe the batteries were originally stored there. I have new battery boxes, switches, etc.
I am looking for a professional in around the western Ma. North Adams area to get all connections made for the new equipment.

Please call me if you have a lead or contact that would be interested in making some extra money!

Good morning,
thanks for getting back to me...

No problem here hooking up the light duty switches/panel.....

In the V20 fisherman it looked like the battery or batteries were stored in the stern compartment/bilge area. I am relocating the batteries under the helm along with new switch gear. There have been many hands in the electrical system over the years. I even stripped out some romex 12/2 wiring! Arrrgh!!!

So with said i will be running new battery lines from the helm to the Merc 115.

It also looks like the ignition may have been replaced. There is a seperate push button for the electronic choke on the '79 Merc 115 in the dash next to the key switch.

The throttle controls may have been replaced as well. The previous owner did replace the steering line/linkage with new and the throttle/gear selector lines to the motor.....

I want to replace both of these controls- throttle and ignition with new equipment...any sources.

Basically I don't want any issues at sea...
Thanks again for your help,
Colin
