Thinking mine would say " thanks "......because here's how it exists......
1. Washed after every salt water use, dries on the trailer, then tarp covered with bungie cords so air still gets in.....
2. Waxed, probably 4X per year
3. Winter - motor winterized, all storage containers removed fron the cuddy ( I use plastic tubs with lids ), access hatches all opened to air out the hull. Covered with tarp, kids plastic ball under top to help avoid snow build up.......and ........... small electric heater kept in the boat in case of big snowstorm to help melt the snow before it can weigh down the tarp.
There's a chance I take better care of it than I do my wife ? Could that be ? Hummmm....
Maybe I'll ask her.....or not

Mine would ask whatever happened to the blonde I took off shore, the one that was willing to do ANYTHING for good luck.
Funny thing is that we had a double hook-up of mahi in the process.

Not too sure what a boat with osteoporosis and chicken pox along with having its guts scattered through the yard would say except "help me"

my kayak would say, pull this cover off of me and at least put me back in the pool(only place I've got it wet in the last two years since i bought it)
my 16 McKee would say, you've only got one more days of work till its ready to use, but its been that way for the last two months(no, I'm not taking it to Florida next week)
My V is cussing me as we speak, its yelling " come get me out of this storage lot and finish me, its only been 6 years since you started!!!!!!
My customers boats are screaming Fix Me!!!!! Constantly
my buggy is whispering sweet nothings into my ears, saying spend more money on me, its easy, just click on the pay me line at the bottom of the order page, and really cool heavy expensive parts will be here in a few days.........
My old Pro line is laughing at me, sitting in its new owners yard, saying you finished me and sold me when i needed nothing(in under 9 months), and you only got $3500 for a great running 20 ft center console. Now i'm enjoying the easy life of a fresh water lake.
My 14 McKee won't talk to me since I sold it(for only $2500). It had the smoothest running outboard I've ever owned. I talked a lot to that boat and God while I worked on it. I worked out a lot of personal and family issues while sanding and wrenching on it. I said i was building it for my family, but other than Kendall, my family wouldn't ride in it. Who was i kidding, it was for me, not just a boat, but a place to let a lot of spent out emotion before it spilled out on my family. That boat caught a lot of grief so no one else would. I caught fish out of it the morning I sold it. That boat had a lot of memories, good and bad, lots of frustrations and rewards, unfortunately, mostly on dry land. I don't know if I just wanted to sell it or i needed to sell it to move on......
