Once done with that one i was waiting on deer. I had another 11 hogs come in just before dark. Busted a big boar and he ran off. Let him lay a bit then went to look. I followed him through thick grass aabout 4 feet high all the while he was grunting ...snorting and PISSED. I have never chased an injured 1 and him not charged but this one kept retreating until he left the area. Strange.

All in all a cool hunt!!

To bad you didn't have an AR or something that could have thrown some lead out in a hurry.

Hey Stink.. Are they any good eating? Like a regular pig? Seems to me that there's a hell of a lot of ribs right there just waiting to be BBQ'ed.

And enough ham to feed a small army for a week.

Sweet kill! that would look real goog skined, split, seasoned and tied to a rack SLOW cooking over a bed of coals. Of course there should be a few beers involved i think it takes one box for the cook.
We are over run by them Ba$tard$ in places up here we get $50 for a set of ears from the county. Some day's are very profitable when you catch them out in an open field :zip:.

Wow, didnt realize I posted two threads, and different titles..WTH?? Moron.

Destroyer, they are pretty good. Nothing like a grain fed pig obviously alot leaner. I usually have sausage made and maybe grill the straps. Sometimes have the loins ground in with it. Most time I just bone out the rear hams and snatch the back straps off as the shoulders render little meat, even on big ones. Small boars are ok but once they get 200+ stink to high heaven and arent worth fooling with. Meat is too musky.
