I have installed carpet, demoed carpet, residential and commercial...but I have never dealt w/carpet like Wellcraft put in our boats!!...this is the toughest stuff ever...v1

You mean.........removing the original ? Because it's glued in and hard to remove ?

I think he was just commenting on the durability of the carpet. It's not very difficult to remove, though... Just grab a loose corner and pull. I painted my cuddy with bilge paint just because I thought the 30 year old carpet had run its course.

Llama skin on the walls and ceiling. Brown astro-turf type carpet on the floor beneath the cushions. I took it all out and it looks, smells, and feels a lot cleaner in there now, but not very aesthetically satisfying to the wife. But its not like anybody spends any time in there.

Without carpet has merit too, depending...........
Waterproof gray might be nice.

My wife complained as well when I took the carpet out, said it was tuff on her back:zip:
