I think I'm in love(or lust). A 23 SEACRAFT potter hull that is repowered with a 6 cylinder VOLVO diesel I/O. I bet this thing gets some economy, and the ride of these is legendary.

Scepter lust? LOL There was one in Pinellas Park with an OB that went relatively cheap but it wasn't a diesel.

I think that is the one that the guy sold on eBay no reserve about a year or two ago. I think it sold for around $2500?? Can't remember but went pretty cheap. Did not have the diesel then so it may very well be a different boat although strikingly similar.

Blue Runner, Your link shows a boat with a Radar Arch and Ferm's post is one with a hardtop. Could be the same I guess.

Here's a secret I'll share with ya'll....

If ya'll ever want to find a DEAL on a boat, commit to doing a full restoration on one you already own.

I do know that it will be exactly what I want when I'm done. definately not cheaper.

Exactly my point, Commit to doing a restoration and every other deal out there comes out of the wood work.

That boat had an old tired 350 in it and sold for $2300 on EBAY. It was up in MASS. You don't see many I/O SEACRAFTS, let alone a diesel one.

Have you been on one ? If so, how's the ride in all kinds of conditions ?

By the way..... there are lots of SeaCraft Sceptre's for sale with I/O's.....as many or more than with outboards. I'm not in a hurry.....got a near mint V21 that's so pretty....make that " so purdy " you almost don't want to use it for fishin' !!
