Hale, thanks for the link buddy. This place is within a couple hours from where I live. I noticed they sell used outboards as well. Waiting for a response on one in particular that I saw listed there...

And that is a good deal for that V20. Unpainted bottom is a nice selling point. Somebody should jump on that. I'm half tempted to buy it as a second boat...

It is probably for a toilet. My 73 has a toilet but there are two fittings on the other side.

If you look at the last picture at the bottom of the cover you can see the bottom of the toilet.

Yep thats what it is all right!!

I removed mine about 4 years ago. I still have the thur hulls but have ball vaules closing them off.

There for women only any way!! A real man goes overthe side and for #2 he goes for a swim!! and the best thing about that you no need any paper!!

True story:

Me and a buddy both had to poo and we were surf fishing. We both eased out into the water and did our deed. His sank but mine started floating and was pullin a hang 10 on the wave behind me. It came at me like a little boogie board and tried to whop me in the head! I had to duck down and go underwater to get clear of it! :o

I barely walked away without a "scrape" ::)

I wonder what affects the buoyancy of a terd anyways. I shall do a study. 8)

hale',
Figured that was you. 8) Didn't know you were shopping for a V20. Clean looking boat, period. Very clean looking for a 31 yr. old!

Stink',
Depends on how many greasy, oily french fries you had the night before. ;D

Ches is right on. Stink, you obviously have a diet that consits of too much fried foods!! We all know oil is lighter than water, which will produce an "UNSINKABLE LEGEND"!

I think we should start calling you "BW" for Boston Whaler:)

I've never shat in the water for just that reason! Must be horrific getting attacked by your own turd! :o :o

Nice boat Hale. That's also a nice looking '75 at the top. Looks to be in pretty good shape and if you can get it for a grand, that would be a sweeeeeeeet deal! 1,250 would be too for that matter!

Now, about the turds - I had figured any turd would float in saltwater since saltwater is more bouyant?? Well, guess I learned something!

P.S. Never had to crap while on the boat or the surf before - can you believe that?? All the hours I've "logged" (pun intended) on the water and I have never had the urge. I must have some sort of internal mechanism that regulates the bowels while at sea.

Oh wait - I think I did float a log on that big sport fishy a month ago, but that doesn't count cause it had all the modern conveniences a man could want!

But if I ever do, I will crap in the bucket, dump over the side and rinse the bucket. Crapping in the water doesn't sound like alot of fun to me ;D

Funny story: My friends father went crabbing with his 16 year old son and his new girlfriend. Here they were sitting in a 16ft Dory crabbing when nature calls. My friends father decides he has to go so bad he asks his son and his girlfriend to turn around so he can go to the bathroom off the front of the boat. As if this isnt embarassing enough :-[, after the turds hit the water Seagulls start diving on the turds picking them up and dropping them repeadely in the water :o. Needless to say the girl was motified and the son was purple with embarassment.
