we have two outdoor public shooting ranges down here. I too the family there last week, my oldest girl had shot before at a local indoor range "shoot like girl night' with my wife, but my youngest had never held a gun before. I started them off with 22 rifles, then switched them them over to 22 pistols. After I got thru loading magazines, clearing jams, making surer the barrel was pointed down range at all times and setting up targets, I got a chance to shoot some after they retired to the car( I was hitting a 6" target at 100 yards with the 22/45, shooting off hand). Kaylee did real good, learning to clear jams and loading her own magazines by the time we were done(she still needs work on her stance), Kendall took to it a little to much, telling me " i got this!" My wife brushed up on here CWP drills. I now live with three women that know how to shoot:oh:

One a side note, the reach on my 10/22 was a little long for Kendall, anyone have an old 10/22 stock laying around they don't want. I figure I could cut about two inches off of it and it would be about right
