I've decided to go ahead and convert my 22' Grady to a bracketed outboard. So, the 190 HP Mercruiser 3.7 power package that's in it now has to go. I would prefer to sell this stuff as a complete package, or at least in big pieces, but I will consider parting it out if I don't get any interest. Anyway, here's what I got...
Running Mercruiser 190/3.7 and Alpha 1 drive combo out of my 1986 Grady White 227. 4 barrel carb, fresh water cooled, 4" heat exchanger. Includes transom plate and power trim pump.
I bought the rig in April (with a bad fuel tank) and have never put it in the water. As I started going through the boat while waiting on the new tank, I discovered the following issues with the engine (discussed in more detail here (http://www.wellcraftv20.com/community/showthread.php?t=17567)):
1. Fuel pump leaks
2. Rotor hits the distributor cap (should be an easy fix w/ a shim)
3. 150 psi give or take on cylinders 1-3, 90 psi on cylinder 4.
The previous owner told me he picked up some seaweed a few years ago. His insurance company paid to have his mechanic replace a bunch of stuff, but he couldn't recall what. I suspect the low(er) compression on cylinder 4 could be leftovers from that overheat.
I have only run the engine on a hose in the driveway. It idles very well and goes in and out of gear smoothly. I would be happy to start it up again for anyone interested.

Looking for fair offers. I am going to start pulling things out of the boat later this month. A quick sale on everything will probably get someone a good deal so I don't have to store stuff. I'll be happy to take inquiries through the forum, or the email and cell (call or text) below.
Thanks.
