there are so many bunker you can walk across the bay on them and not get wet. i dont remember ever seeing this much bait in the water. spearing. mullet. i'm using a small snagger and snagging two or three peanuts on every cast. getting at least one on each cast. it's amazing. ya'll got 'em like this?

2 weeks ago in Manasquan River you could fill a 5 gal bucket with peanut bunker with 2 throws of a 7 ft net. And we were getting 6 inch mullet too.
I haven't been out in a while but I hear it all moved out to the beach.

And the big bunker have been thick for years. In May & June sometimes you can run over bunker from Manasquan to Sandy Hook
