I hate to see her like that. Sad to say, she may never see water again. We need more people like Kracker, willing to buy one and do a complete rebuild. People just do not want old boats. They would rather spend $30k up on a new boat, and would have just a good a boat for less money if they would buy an older one fix it up and customize it to suit their needs. An old boat is just as seaworthy as a new one. I would feel just as safe on an old boat with a new motor as a factory fresh boat.

If I had the money to rebuild her, I would ride up there and bring her back to FL. But I cant afford two boats.

Looking back at the pics, she has probably been used recently based on the anchor on the deck, unless its a "prop." She is in the exact shape I bought the 18 Fisherman in. No motor, no trailer, and competely gutted and stripped of everything of value.

It also comes with a nice mosquito pool in the transom! Something just to right about letting her lay on her side like that on the grass. Sad.

we all need to buy it and have some one drag it over to Charlies house and drop it in the front yard. He could get working on it while a trailer and motor becomes available.

just so ya'll know, i dont have much of a front yard but i do have a helluva driveway up here at 233 west olive street, in long beach ny.
not that i'm gonna tell ya'll what to do. . . . . . a $100. motor and a $100. trailer would make that a nice package.

also got a couple dozen cinderblocks in my driveway.

Pete's gonna come flying by at about 35 and just un-hook the chain, she'll rest where she stops!.

Just one condition Charlie, you can't give up on it, or sell it till its completed, we will expect weekly updates on the progress. I don't want to have to send Reel and Mr. Krinkle up there to get you motivated

BTW, put me down for $10

I only buy I/O V-20 But I will put in $10.00 and maybe Capt Pete could tow the boat to sea girt reef. Or just make a new reef for V-20 the only boat that never stops fishing!!!!!!!!!!
