Trimmed up real slow getting ready for 1/2 day off boat trip.
Then.....wouldn't trim at all. Fluid full, battery full, engine running fine.
Sixteen years - not bad I suppose. Tilted the motor up manually and it's going to cost me - now at J&B Marine for a new one.

you tried tapping on it with a hammer. Is the motor getting 12v when the trim switch is pressed. Might be a relay.

Thanks - yes, tried the tap trick, and voltage good.
The way it worked slowly then died dispite voltage may be sign of water intrusion into the pump ? Not sure.
