as you all know i lost my dad a few months back. i will prepare to "celebrate" my first father's day without him. it will take on new meaning for me. it will be bittersweet as i wont have him here with me but i will spend the day with my boys, whom he was just crazy about, and i feel like i have become the man he wanted me to be.
if you still have your dad, spend time with him and cherish him this, and every day. if you dont, know that you have become the man he would have been proud of.
also i want to wish all of you a happy father's day. spend your special day with the ones you love.
enjoy your day, gents.

Well said my friend.
Same to you.
I lost my Dad two weeks before my 17th unexpected, he was away at sea.
I miss him tremendously.
Cherish them.
Happy Fathers Day to all of you Gents.

Anyone that's lost their dad has a special moment tomorrow when they remember all the good things and good times they had with their dad. I lost my father on the Millenium. Jan 1, 2000. Dad got to see the coming century at least. Like I do every Father's day since then, even with all the things that have to be done tomorrow,..(BBQ, party, etc.), I'll take a few hours off... And I'll go to my Dad's grave and talk to him for a bit and thank him for all he gave me.
Happy Father's day guys.. God bless you all!!
