We went out today around 09:30, saw pods of bunker, jigged some up, anchored, tried for Stripers, Nothing but Blues, stayed a little longer, nothing, so we headed for the Fluke. We started Fluke fishing around 10:30 and Sal gets his first of two keepers. A little while later, Sal gets his second keeper and around 1:00 Lloyd says FISH ON, GET THE NET, he pulls in a fat 24 inch 5 pound Fluke. Once the tide changed, that was it for the day. We fished the MPB on the Floyd Bennett side and Gulp Shrimp, choice of bait.

Ditto... Bass, Blues, Cod, etc., etc., etc., are nice, and the thrill of catching a 20-30 lb Salmon in Lake Ontario is fantastic, but nothing tastes better to me than fresh fluke pan fried in butter. It's what keeps me coming back for more.
