so we flew down to florida last week to help my mom get rid of some stuff and drive back with her. had to mix in some relaxation so i got around a bit. first of all we went to outdoor world/bass pro. i could live there. we dont have anything like that up by us. i could spend hours and thousands in that store.
then we went to one of my favorite places to fish down there. the singer island side of the blue heron bridge. whipping six pound spinning gear out by the pier and catching one to two pound cierra mackerel. awesome.
a bit of snorkeling in the keys.
my boys did some lizard hunting so there is now a large population of lizards in south florida without tails.
man, you florida guys have it made. gonna be another few years but i cant wait to retire down there.

Good times...nothing like the Gulf Coast! Lord willing Ill never leave!
Glad yall had some fun!
Which BPS Charlie? Orlando?
We just got one 30 minutes from my house. Ive been to a couple before that but its nice knowing if you need something hard to get for hunting or fishing at the last minute they probably got it.

Hey Charlie, what do you mean you have mothing like Outdoor World/Bass Pro up here. Just make the hour and 1/2 drive west along I-78 to the Cabela's store in Hamburg, Pa and then you could go 1 more hour west and where I-81 meets I-83, there is a stor called Outdoor World/Bass Pro and then you could go 45 more minutes south on I-81 and right along the highway is Gander Mtn.
I think you need to get out of the "BIG CITY" more often.

Sounds like a nice little vacation CTT, its amazing how just a few days in the warm sun can rejuvenate a soul.
I love to go to BPS (just 45 min away for me)...trouble is, I walk around wide eyed with my mouth hanging open the whole time and end up not buying anything...its just overwhelming.
