I spend my fair share of time looking at boats. How did I miss this one? A little departure from the ordinary and I want one. V-20 Cuddy on steroids. Dreaming.

Thats a nice boat, but I don't think it has a large enough tank to get it back home.

and it only has an IKI MA capacity of 25 gallons. somehow that seems small.

I just spent 15 mins on google trying to figure out what the hell Iki Ma is.....My guess would be fresh water in hawaiian but it doesnt come up as that.....who knows.

Live Bait Well -- Iki Ma
Huge friggin fish storage and I like the looks of the twin Etec 115's on a bracket. She is big at 9' wide and 23' 10" long without counting the bracket or the anchor roller. Little place to sit on the cuddy and it is entirely composite.. Looks like serious $$$
Spotted this beauty on the cover of this months West Marine sales circular then Googled the name..

Pocket drive option v-drive or jack shaft, twin I/O, single or twin OB, diesel oprtions, sounds like they will build whatever you want..
1400 lb fishbox option? Looks clean like a Parker.

Thats a FINE rig...
The fuel capacity would be fine for anything I would use it for but IMO its not enough for that boats' potential.

Fuel capacity (standard; approximate; see tank options) 120 gal (850 lbs)

Don't need much fuel in Hawaii. You never get out of sight of land to catch anything you want. The round trip to the several FAD off shore was less than 12 miles.

Video of how it is made and a few running shots.
Correction, they still use some wood in the boat..

You'd need a "Wide Load" permit, sign and flags on that boat while being trailered in NJ. NJ limits specify 8' wide. Still, she's a beauty, and there's no getting away from the fact that she looks a lot like a V. If anyone wants to buy me one I'll accept it graciously.

But then you'd have to procure a towing permit...oh the PAIN!!...
Fantasy Survey...How would you configure & power this hull?

Looks sweet.
I considered doing a front combing like that in place of the windsheild on my V. Wifey wouldn't get to look out though.
Goes to show the timeless design of our V20s. Thanks Ray!
I'd go for twin 175 Evinrude ETECs hung on the transom or an inboard diesel with a straight shaft run to a tunnel drive.

That is a killer boat, really does look like a V hull. I agree it needs a bigger fuel tank to satisify our needs. Id like to see a price, not that I can afford one!

I like the looks of the Etecs on the bracket. Make mine twin 150 HO Etecs. I agree about the fuel capacity, 200 gallons ought to do it. A big single outboard or diesel would be cool but I would want twins I think.
In Florida they would frown on the 9' width, daylight travel only, the DOT could f-up a wet dream... :cen:

the boat looks great i vote for twin e tec on brackett. how about the ultament v-23 center console cuddy cabin!!!closed transom with a brackett? take two v-20 cuddys cut 3 feet out out of one and streach the other.alot of work but what a neat boat it would be .i cant beleive that some of the talented guys on this site could make one if they wanted to. afterlooking at the boat show prices of center console cuddys it would still be cost effective if you could do the work yourself!!
