I own a 1988 V-20 here in NJ. I was docked at the Atlantic Highlands Marina for about 12 years. Started in my floating dock for 900 a season but had to get out when I needed funding for a new Yamaha 150 re-power. While I was in the Marina the average fee increase was about $80 a year. I was just called that there was a slip available on the same dock that I left and the new fee is now $2500. I guess I will have to keep trailering.

I was in the Leonardo State marina. When I signed up for the slip I was put on a waiting list and told that they were $400 for the season... By the time I actually got a slip 4 years later the price had gone up to $1100.. I kept it for 2 years and saw it go to $1250 in that time. My boats have been trailer queens ever since. As far as I know, the annual fee was $73.95 per foot (around $1500) for a 20' boat in 2009. I can only guess what it is now.. I'm betting it's around $1600 now....still a bargain considering other marinas in the area, but more than I care to spend to just let my boat sit there. :head:

Averages 110-125 per foot for docks and for rack storage which is what I do in Atlantic Highlands area.
I prefer the rack as I do not have to worry about bottom paint and the overall wear and tear on the boat and motor bobbing in the dock 24-7.
