Looks like a great day to be out.
I have always liked the silver paint on Mariner outboards.

Good pics Phat. The sailor dude on your Mariner and you almost have the same hat. That cooler has some character, bet it could tell some stories.

reel, it's a 84 with a 94 motor. it had the original black max 150 merc when i bought the boat in 90. i repowered with the mariner in 94. my old motor was 1o years old when i repowered and my "new" motor is 17 years old. might have to start thinking about fresh power. the camera is a panasonic point & shoot. i am an old school slr canon guy and have been very slow to get into the digital age, but i do love the instant gratification of seeing what you shoot.
bradford, that is a split lid gott circa 1984 that i bought for a mako i had. it is the best cooler i have ever had. it was before rubbermaid bought out gott and dropped the quality to compete pricewise with coleman. i have looked for several years for a replacement and they are hard to find. guess i'll have to pony up and get a yeti. i do love the split lid though...
i just noticed how dirty the boat was, but if you'll look, the cleanest thing on it is the seats, i got those from lumberslinger last year...

Yeah, Phat...that's the same color on the floor as mine...did they use that any other years?...and a cooler since '84...that ain't a cooler, it's an heirloom...get some white truck-bed liner, paint it and keep on truckin'!!...
Hey, Phat...I just saw the Julia Mae's sticker on the cooler...Carrabelle??..no wonder yer keepin the cooler!!...

I was down there spring of this year...JM's closed when we went thru...used to eat at Georges in middle of Carrabelle...back then it was the best seafood around...unless ya wanted to drive to Panecea and ANGELO's...now THAT was a SEAFOOD restaurant, but I hear mixed reviews these days...

i don't get much past st joe anymore, so i am out of the loop on the good places to eat.
i was in st augustine a while back and was looking for a good place to eat breakfast. i saw a small dumpy looking diner with 4 or 5 phone trucks out front. i thought i had found a hidden treasure. went in and ate and the food was horrible. i ask the waitress what all the phone trucks were doing out front. she said they were in the back working on the phones.
