Thank god 2011 is almost over .... last night my Dad passed away and I was 1000 miles away, as there (mom and dad) in Ocala florida and I'm in New Jersey.... This has been the yr from hell for me for various reasons. I cant wait for it to be over.

My Dad & Mom both are 83 and I keep reminding myself to call or go see them. They live about 20 miles away and I still can't find or take the time to go by there.

I know I'm gonna regret that.

sorry for your loss lumber, lost my dad a year ago, and i think about it every day. just be there for your mom. my mom went first and it was very hard on my dad.

And go see your folks they will be glad you did also....I saw my dad 10 days ago ,I was with him for a week we had a great time did a lot of reminiscing .... I heard stories I've never heard before, and Ill never forget them.......

Lumber, Im really sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. I know what you're going through. I lost my dad when I was 20, been 31 years ago and it still gets to me sometime how much he meant to me and my family. Try to think about all the good times you had together, it seems to help.
