Seems as if someone were considering a V20 this is a steal with newer power. If I could get someone to buy mine I'd be all over that. Looks turn key.

Re: the motor. If anyone is seriously interested in this boat - I would double-check the model year of that motor (ie obtain the model number off the engine). 2003 would be a Bombardier built engine - which would be much more valuable for resale than the Envinrude built FICHT engines that preceded it. I question the model year really being a 2003 as advertised - because I have a 2000 150 FICHT ... and the cowling looks exactly like the one in the photo. Every 2002 and newer cowling I have ever seen - look significantly different.

Exactly! If it sounds too good to be true......This is what a 2003 150 FICHT should look like....Caveat Emptor!

I guess maybe it's not the correct cowling, but for the price I doubt it. Maybe it was rebuilt in 2003. I emailed the seller, let's see.

yea seems kinda fishy....i wrote him with a bunch of questions and got a pretty short reply.
i asked him ..transom and floor was ok....if the motor was rebuilt, did he ever have any problems with it...how many hours did it have on it and a few others... this is what he replied..
"no rot on anything, I bought used the former owner bought motor new, 40-50 hrs on it. Had boat serviced in Aug when I had the new fishfinder installed"

This is the email I received:
I will get my husband to get that for you he will not be back until this later this afternoon.
I asked if the year was correct and for the serial number. I have a feeling the "husband" will not be emailing me. ::)

Well, after a couple emails to the seller AND bidders, the seller just added this to the ad:
Sorry for confusion about motor, motor was purchased new in April of 2003, have receipt of purchase. Mfg. in May of 2000... Model E150FPXSSM Serial G04874662.
Makes a big difference! I wouldn't want that motor!

Received an email from seller, finally. Sounds like an honest mistake to me. I STILL would not want a 2000 FICHT!
his email: motor is a 2000, it was purchased in april of 2003 and installed. The man we bought it from said he got in in '03, so we assumed it was an '03, we had the the boat and motor serviced in jul or aug when we installed the new humminbird fishfinder, we also had a new impeller installed then. everything is working great and in good working order

Best of luck to the high bidder. I've got a feeling he's going to need it. :-[
