Anyone parting a CC? I have an 81 V20 and I need a couple parts... Mostly I need the foot well... I could use the access door for the bilge area under the splash well although I can easily make that.... also rod holders for the gunwhale and top mount controls... as hard as these parts are to find it gets worse... they have to be REALLY cheap cause I B POOR
thanks folks

there's a couple V's down here being parted out, I didn't know where you were, gas and or shipping would probably make it not worth your time

Thanks,
But I couldn't afford the shipping on the engine if IT was free.... probably a good deal for someone but I had justify spending $50 on the one I just bought by being able to sell my CMC unit on ebay...
Whacha have in mind on the controls? btw I won't need the cables but the controls would need to work with the mercury/mercruiser cables I have now.

I can get a new quicksilver top mount control/binnacle for $100 but I'm trying to find something for less. Any ideas appreciated.

Don't just look for Merc controls, Yamaha has a nice binnacle style that can be made to work with the Mercs. May have to go with 3300 cables due to the differences in connections but if a deal could be had.
I only came up with three cleats. A couple old ratchet mounts, one 4" SS GPS fixed mount, acouple LED lights, a couple Beckson inspection plates and the handrail. You making progress??

did I mention, you da man? Thanks.
I've been scouring the net for cheap parts and I also robbed some stuff off of an old boat of mine sitting in a buddy's horse pasture... I did talk to Sean the other day.. he told me he isn't coming up here till march..... of course it'll be cold and snowy out till then anyhow... he also told me about the "cold" 70 degree weather you guys are getting down there..... must be rough....
