Had a ball crabbing with friends at Charleston Bay Oregon. Plenty of nice Dungeness crab. I do hate it when your picking up your last string and parts start falling of your shifter housing. Please note the hoodie!

Not sure who Capt J is but yes we used crab pots and were hauling in 10 to 15 at a time.

Hi Pete,
The pots I have seen while visiting that area were pretty large and round in shape. Do you use a smaller type pot for recreational fishing?

Yes, these are square pots that we get at BiMart. 1 way doors one each side let crab in, but not out! You can see one on the bow in front of my wife on the attached picture.
