That top is awesome. Has anyone ever tried to build a top for there boat. *It does not seem like it would be that hard to build. Am I completely off by think this.

I would have left the bow rail on though. Looks to plain Jane without the rail.

I personally like it without the rails. Fishing boats don't need no stinkin rails. ;D 8)

She's a beauty! I betcha that hardtop/enclosure is over 5 grand new! Looks like he took very good care of her, he even Armor All's the trailer tires!

Don't know much about that I/O but if it's in good shape and the rest of the boat checks out, not a bad deal really.

I hope he gets a ton for it...it'll enhance the value of every V-20 on this board ;) ...

I got to tell you I took my bow rail off this summer and am tickled pink, makes the boat look cleaner and for me a lot easier to launch and land. Never had a call for the rail, but it was in the way a lot of times.
Frequently I have to launch and retrieve especially by myself, like when the super models have previous engagements :D and what I do is come in and go over the bow to hook up my cable. Now I just slide right over and step down, what a joy.
I know appearance is a matter of personal taste, thats why they have blondes brunnettes and redheads ;D All of which I personally have inspected and highly approve of the look of the boat w/o the bow rail is beautiful clean conservative but contemporary. And at least for me it makes life much easier ;)

That top with the curtains is over $5,000 if it is of any quality at all, which it appears to me......

The one I had Arctek Jim make for my Formula 233 was over that LOL......it was loaded.

I still have it for sale on eBay.....check out, maybe with some minor mount modifications, it could work for some of you?

The whole boat has been freshly repainted, you would have to find out what was used etc. also enlarge the picture of the bottom of the hull from the side, what is that greenish runny looking stuff under the white paint ???

That's the only flaw I can find w/ that boat...isn't there a bottom-paint that color?...

...that and he put the compass on the port dash ::)..."Hey, Maude...where we goin' ??" ;D ;D ...

Looks like he does a lot of shallow loadin'...string from the trailer winch runs to back of trailer ...

Thanks for gettin' those pics on the board, Skools ;) 8) ...a V-20 that good lookin' NEEDS to be here... :D ...

Just read some of your posts.......we removed almost all of the antifouling paint with acetone and and LOT of elbow grease! What you see in the not so revealing picture is whats left of the blue paint. No the boat was NOT painted, ever! That is the original gelcoat and its gorgeous! All 3 owners of this boat(32 years worth)were anal as hell, with me being the worst(most obvious) the hull has been kept waxed this boats whole life and its very evident. Everyone I talk to (many)thinks its been gelcoated...I love it! As for the statment about an outboard bringing more money........yeah right! this 165h.p.(250 c.i.d. chevy) is the most reliable engine ever put in a boat, period. its a Jasper (marine engine)with 150 troublefree hrs. Yes I installed an hour meter when I fitted the engine. I have done ALL the work to this boat thats why I know its worth every penny. Dave (the stickler)

Everyone with a I/O should have all them things and more!! ;)

I don't recommend the average boater own an I/O. It can be expensive no doubt....In my experience (20 years a U.S. Coast Guard engineer)owning and operating one is hands down simple. :D I hate all that oily smoke anyway....... cough! cough!
