I'm sure you'll get a lot of response to this, but in the meantime, reach up to the tool bar and click on SEARCH...put in anchors, pulpits etc and see what you find...it'll vary widely w/this crowd as there are so many different uses for these boats..
Enjoyed talkin' w/you last night...

I use a pivoting bow roller. Works great. You don't have to go out on deck.
I have have a chain "tensioner" to help hold it but I wrap the chain on the cleat for safety.
I plan to replace the tensioner with a pin type chain lock. I also want to put in a deck pipe to pass the chain thru to the cabin

Top of page 2 shows my anchor setup before a few tweaks. I can't say running the line back through the hawse pipe is enjoyable, but I usually leave my anchor line in a pile on the bow until after the last stop for the day... then feed it all back through. If a buddy gets in the cuddy and pulls it down while I feed it from the bow, that works best.
