I am less than 7 miles from there they had 2 tornadoes went through. I am worried about a friend who was in the path I been trying to contact him with no answers. National guard in In Springfield major damage in a 30 mile path .
Tornadoes are pretty rare in this part of the country but we had numerous tornadoes go just north of here less than 7-8 miles from here. WWLP tv 22 has cameras mounted on a build up about 30 stories facing the Connecticut River looking west. They caught the tornado crossing over first a CSX railroad bridge then the Memorial bridge watch the tornado sucking water from the river.......

My sister in law lives in sturbridge. Tornado struck at the base of the street they live on. She was talking to her sister, (my wife) as the tornado struck. My wife heard the whole thing over the phone. Scared outta her mind...screaming etc. (She's ok now). They are without power now, but ok and without damage... but she says there are trees down everywhere and several houses just down the street from her are without roofs, etc. Gov has declared a state of emergency, closed all schools for tomorrow to let clean up and rescue crews work, 4 confirmed dead so far.. May God rest their souls.

I'm starting to think that kooky minister that predicted the rapture was just off by a week or so.

Wild weather. Lots of damage, but we're all okay here in the eastern part of the state. I was at work in Boston during the peak of the storm. Crazy weather for sure.

So glad to hear you all are okay! I'm watching the news right now and it looks like that those tornadoes ravaged portions of the state. I thank the Lord you and yours were kept safe.

Although I was not that real close to any of the bad stuff, I was glad I took my truck into work instead of the bike...
