Yesterday was the day to be out for sure. I see CaptPete had a great morning.:clap:
Stopped at the boat on the commute home from work. Got out at 6 PM. Went straight out of Manasquan inlet to 60 ft. I snagged bunker and loaded up three rods. My car pool buddy is a total landlubber, non-fisherman. I was trying to teach him. He messed up a bunch of bites. Got him to land this one, 27 Lbs.
I had a monster on but pulled the hook. We left em biting at 8:15PM.
Took a day off today. Went out solo this morning 5:30. Plenty of bait, no bass. Little blues taking tails off the bunker. Fog rolled in THICK. Called it quits at 11 am with only one decent run off.
Fingers crossed for fishable weather this weekend.
