Would like a cover for my 1979 V20 Stepside. I ordered one and now have to return it because it is designed for a pointed bow, not a round one. Any suggestions or do I have to have one custom made.

Use the search feature for boat covers...we've seen some very nice ones here, plus there is a pool cover that works real well...

Daniel, I cannot help you with the custom cover, but if all you are looking for is a good, strong cover that will last you for years then go with a pool cover like reelapeelin said. Make sure it's an oval, winter cover, and when you size it remember that pool cover sizes are listed as the size of the pool. What that means is that a cover with a size of 20 x 10 will actually have an additional 4 feet of size, due to the sides of the pool. So plan accordingly. One of the bonus features of a pool cover is that they come with a steel cable and winch to keep it snug against the pool....which means it will also keep it snug along the sides of your boat. You can expect it to look something like this when it's on the boat.

i thought I remember somebody saying they found a cover for a deck boat that fit the V''s rounded front pretty good.
