finally found some that will work great! i was in Columbus Ohio last week and drove past a restaurant supply business.in the window there was a display of various sized plastic containers.when i went in the had none of the plastic ones that were the right size but i ended up looking at the stainless steel tubs(like pizza shops use for holding toppings) and found 2 that fit perfect.they are not as deepas the original inserts but will work fine and last alot longer.so that may be a type of business to check out if you are looking for a pair of them.

bill,no the boat is still in an orderly mess! i'm waiting on the upholstery shop to call me.they are making new capt. seat pads that will match up w/ the new lounge seat i ordered.i have the rod holder insers out and am headed to the barn today to start fixing those up.then the floor will get a new coat of paint and i believe that'll be everything i'm going to do cosmetically this year.
i've been keeping up on the walleye fishing on the ohio site.this is the only time i miss my old boat.it was a better rig for that type of fishing but i really like the new one much better.i'm headed up next week to do some work for the people who own the camp where we stay in the fall.some bartering of work for a cheaper 2 week rate!
