IN sf ca.
Purchased a seabird 24 and while being delivered by the seller the trailer broke loose from the truck, total loss.. Tying to recover from that, thinking that a v20 may better fit the bill.
There is a mako 228 down the street in excellent shape for 3900 but has no outboard, if it had a bit more deadrise Id jump on it.
I have a 1993 225 available, need a nice deep v boat to get out salmon fishing with!
TIA

That 225, if older 2-stroke should work fine on a V20...they might be a little harder to find on west coast as seems most were sold on east coast...

Its a johnson ocean runner.
What years were considered to be the best of the v20's, I think the main difference was transom and higher self bailing floors?

Around 85-86 is when most of the changes were finalized on the V-20, and then in 93 the V-21 came out.
