Hey guys, what size rope goes in the rub rail on my 87? Its like rubbing your inner thigh on coarse sandpaper getting in and out of the boat. Recommendations on type of rope?

Its been a while since I've been online. The 87' is running well and for anyone interested, the ceramic Arjay transom is holding up well. Solid as a rock.

Thanks,
Maury

Maury, Once again thanks for your intuitive post using Arjay and your feedback, I even use the safety cones for my pour. I am also happy to report mine is all well and I have been recommending this product ever since.
Not if but when I need to replace my stringers its the product for the job...

I missed his tutorial...safety cones upside down like a funnel?...or across the driveway so you drunken brother in law doesn't run yer @$$ down while pouring your transom?...LOL!!

Andrew,

Glad it worked out for you. No more wood in a transom for me (but I hope I never have to redo one again). Just put new 8 ply radials on the trailer as I'm pulling her about 5 hours to Orange Beach Alabama in a couple of weeks for a guy weekend. Kind of nervous about that haul - hope she doesn't end up on the side of the interstate. :)
