I have a 96 I believe Evinrude 200, looking for a clean set up carbs to make it a 225, anyone know of any for a decent price please let me know.

I haven't forgot yeah Willy, just haven't came across a set that somebody wants to part with. You need to find a set from a 95 to about 00 or so 225(there is also a 250HP set, but they require some different porting to work well).

Needs to be 95+, mid year 94 and down is teh old style and late 94+ is teh new style. I've tried that guy in Steinhatchee and he didn't want to part em out before or send me pics so I could see if they were new or old style.

Those are 200HP carbs with the throttle blades. He needs the whole set with throttle blades. I've got an early set, but they don't work no where near as good as a late model set do.

I'm hoping, 200 hp is nice with my HS Vector but it should truly have a 225 with that heavy hull. I have met others who have the boat and repowered with a 225 and said it was sweet and the cruise was at a lower rpm and the hole shot loaded up with a full tank and three guys dramatically improved.
it will cost me some in gas though I understand.
